Biography

I am a professor of orthopedics at Wake Forest School of Medicine. I serve the institution as the director of the orthopedic trauma service, the director of the orthopedic trauma fellowship as well as medical director of inpatient orthopedics. I am a nationally recognized leader in the field of orthopaedic trauma. I serve on several national committees including the educational committee for the orthopedic trauma association and the community development committee for AO North America. I am a committed educator and clinician, and also a well-respected researcher and have brought in substantial grant funding to the institution through this work. I am the author of over 50 peer reviewed publications and have given more than 150 talks nationally and internationally on a variety of topics related to orthopedic trauma.
