About Me

I was born and raised outside Detroit, Michigan and attended medical school at Michigan State University, College of Human Medicine. I spent the last 25 years practicing geriatric medicine at Summa Health System in Ohio where I held various positions including the medical director of the memory clinic, medical director of a long term care retirement community and associate director of the geriatric fellowship program. My main interests in caring for older adults is in managing dementia and frailty. I moved to Winston-Salem to continue my work with patients afflicted with dementia but also to be involved in Alzheimer’s Disease research. My husband and I have four children and like to spend our free time traveling and biking.
