About Me

I am a registered dietitian located at Lexington Medical Center. I specialize in both inpatient and outpatient populations for adults and pediatrics. My special interests include diabetes education and disease management, chronic kidney disease, ICU care, and oncology. I received a Bachelor’s in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as well as a second Bachelors and a Master’s Degree in Nutrition Science from East Carolina University. I completed my dietetic internship at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC before moving to Winston-Salem after accepting my current position at Lexington.

As part of my position I provide inpatient medical nutrition therapy for medical and surgical patients as well as those requiring ICU care. In my outpatient practice I see both adult and pediatric patients with a wide variety of nutrition needs as well as teach both cardiac rehab and diabetes education classes. In my free time I enjoy spending time outside hiking, biking, golfing, playing tennis or going to the beach.
