Within Atrium Health, we use survey results to better understand what is important to our patients and how we can improve healthcare experiences. The overall Patient Rating score comes from the questions on our Medallia Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a scale, where 0 represents "very poor" and 10 represents "very good.” Those scores are shown as 1 to 5 stars on the provider’s profile.

    • December 31, 2022 I consider Rich Lord not only my PCP but a friend. Rich is through, understanding, and caring. He goes above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Rich provides the highest quality care possible while being concerned for my financial responsibility.
    • December 22, 2022 Dr. Lord is always professional, he listens and show compassion.
    • December 19, 2022 Dr. Richard Lord is fantastic!! I trust him completely with my care and well being. He is amazing at how he is able to care for his patients. Such a depth of knowledge, experience and caring.
    • December 17, 2022 Dr. Lord is the best communicator I have ever had for a primary care physician. He takes the time required to make sure the problem and the treatment plan is understood by all parties involved in the care of the patient. The only problem is that he is so good and so busy that it is very difficult to get an appointment to see him. I have to make my appointment for my annual physical at least 6-7 months in advance
    • December 2, 2022 I??ve been a patient more than 20 years, never had a complaint. He is caring, concerned, takes time explaining everything, friendly, and you feel safe with him as your MD
    • November 22, 2022 Dr. Lord is a rare gem of a physician. He genuinely cares for his patients and takes the time to listen to any concerns you may have. He doesn't make you feel like he's rushing you out the door and trying to maintain a schedule. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone to become his patient.
    • November 4, 2022 Dr Lord is the best doctor, he takes time with his patients. Answers all the questions that I have and explain them so I understand them. Love him and his staff
    • October 16, 2022 He's great doctor and he really cares about his patients. He also listens to what I have to say.

    Why No Ratings

Currently, not all doctor ratings and comments are available. The number of rated physicians will increase over time.
The more ratings a provider receives, the more accurate and statistically reliable the data is. Providers with less than 30 ratings may not have patient ratings listed on their profiles.
