Within Atrium Health, we use survey results to better understand what is important to our patients and how we can improve healthcare experiences. The overall Patient Rating score comes from the questions on our Medallia Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a scale, where 0 represents "very poor" and 10 represents "very good.” Those scores are shown as 1 to 5 stars on the provider’s profile.
Patient Comments
- January 27, 2023 My surgeon was excellent That done my surgery Nurses are so kind and caring. But getting the right answers from chemo therapy And radiation is a little confusing They're not on the same Conversation And diagnosis It's like Like one doctor tells you 5 to 10% And another Doctor Tell you 50% Of disease Of disease coming back That's is what confusing. But other than that Every Is great

- September 7, 2022 All my experiences with this provider was negative. She was more concerned on my first visit with me smoking than anything else! On my second visit she made me feel as if I wasn??t supposed to hurt barley one week postoperative of a bilateral mastectomy & made me feel I made the wrong decision in having it done. She repeatedly asked my I did and chose a Bilateral mastectomy. In my opinion she does not need to deal with patients. Surely she must??ve been better in her younger years, but I definitely do not want her to partake in anymore of my care
- August 23, 2022 Dr. Melin is very caring for me as a patient. She listens to me and always answers any questions I have
- May 20, 2022 Dr. Melin helped me ten years ago when I was first diagnosed with breast cancer. I was scared, and she put me at ease. I drive/drove two and a half hours to Wake Forest because I wanted the best care, and in Bristol, TN there was no one I trusted. The head oncologist in Bristol, TN at the time (2012) .... I would not send my cat to. Dr. Melin is well above par, and I can add 100 positive adjectives to describe her and my experience at Wake Forest Baptist.
- May 10, 2022 Dr Melin is an outstanding MD she always takes time to listen to me and discusses / explains management of my condition very well

- March 13, 2022 Dr Melin is always very knowledgeable and takes time to not only explain the issues but ask for my opinion. I never feel she rushing to get to the next patient. She always seems focused on my needs.
- March 3, 2022 Listened to my problems & questions I had. Very helpful & knowledgeable. Would highly recommend her .
- February 25, 2022 Dr. Melin is the best provider ever! Also, she is a great marriage counselor. She jokingly recommended my husband give me some diamonds while I/we were going through my/our cancer journey. I am now cancer-free. Dr. Melin will let him know the diamond recommendation remains!!!! Well, I got an RV/camper instead--no diamonds yet! I thank her each visit how she and all the other teams saved my life. To God be the glory!
- February 18, 2022 Dr Melin is the best! She listens to my concerns and answers any questions I have and I never feel rushed. She genuinely cares about her patients!
