- June 2, 2023 A visit to the hospital system involves a patient and a provider. Patients come for answers. A clinical judgment is wanted or at least say I do not know but here is a referral. Communication is valuable.

- February 9, 2023 Dr. Shapiro demonstrates a high degree of knowledge of cardiology--historically and evolving trends and treatments. His dialog not only includes specific medical information but he shows personal interest in the whole patient, including family and community. And it's clear that he enjoys living in Winston-Salem, City of Arts & Innovation, and participating in the community. Extremely generous in his offers to be available for family benefit.

He included my thoughts when developing a care plan. His care plan was clear and concise. I did not feel rushed or pressure during the visit. I feel confident with him as my physician and the decisions he made.
