Cereset Health
Cereset Health supports your brain’s ability to reset, recalibrate, adapt, and operate with greater ease and efficiency—helping you move through life with clarity, presence, and resilience.
Cereset® Health is a new offering at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. Cereset is short for "cerebral reset." Stress is the body’s responses to threat or trauma, whether physical or non-physical. The brain is the control center for the stress response, and all interactions with the environment, bodily functions, physical, mental, and emotional performance.
Your brain is your most valuable asset.
Cereset Health or CH for short, is an advanced, brief, non-invasive, non-drug neurotechnology that supports the brain to release and recover from the negative effects of stress (by Innercore Health).
Cereset Health sessions create an opportunity for your brain to balance and quiet its electrical pattern, on its own terms. Just like tuning an instrument or updating software, Cereset is about helping your brain recognize opportunities to reset and perform at its best, facilitating readiness, resilience, and wellbeing.
Sensors that continuously observe your brain activity, allow the computer to assign an auditory tone to dominant brain frequencies, in near real time. The tones are echoed back through ear buds, reflecting the brainwave activity at that moment in time. The echoed tones vary in pitch and timing, sounding a bit like a child’s first piano recital. Each session will be entirely unique to your brain. By allowing your brain to look at itself in an acoustic mirror, it is supported to harmonize, quiet, and balance itself during sessions.
CH is based on clinical research done in the Brain Body Research Program in the Department of Neurology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine since 2011. Over 950 study participants have enrolled in clinical trials, resulting in numerous peer-reviewed publications. Results have demonstrated clinically meaningful, statistically significant reductions of symptoms such as stress, anxiety, and insomnia, improved autonomic nervous system function, and improved network connectivity on fMRI brain scans.

Support for your brain’s natural capacity and performance.
The Cereset Process
Cereset acts like a reset button for the brain. The technology allows the brain to find new, more efficient set points and functions to replace old, dysfunctional neural pathways and responses to trauma or threat that have gotten stuck.
