- October 5, 2020Took excellent care with me, took X-rays and showed what happened when I fell, explained all very well and will have me back in two weeks to recheck broken bones in shoulder on how the healing was going.
- August 26, 2020From my initial meeting with Dr Case over a year ago, he has shown extraordinary appropriate interest in my injury and my healing process. He listens to me and never makes me feel as if my questions or concerns are anything but legitimate and relevant. His demeanor is calm and somewhat quiet (though not timid or silent as some drs can be), but always empathetic and interested. We converse. He doesn't lecture, he explains. He does not talk down to me nor dumb down his explanations. He speaks with authority, but doesn't use a lot of medical terminology that might be unfamiliar to me. (If he uses a term for a muscle or procedure, he then follows up with an explanation re what it is and then is open to discussion or any questions or need for clarification from me.) When I have asked about different medical/surgical approaches friends have had to the same procedure I had, which he did not perform on me, he readily explains why he has chosen a different course of action. (Example: one friend had knee replacement in outpatient. Another friend has leg/knee manipulation, then surgical extraction of the broken scar tissue.) I ABSOLUTELY HAVE FULL CONFIDENCE IN DR. CASE, HIS JUDGMENT AND HIS ABILITY. And I am not easily impressed by many physicians I've encountered over the years.

He has high standards and works with me so that I can achieve postoperative results that are better than the norm. I'm very grateful that he doesn't sit back and settle for good enough.
