Nursing Recruitment Referral Program

We recognize one of the best sources of new talent for our institution is our current staff. To encourage referrals of qualified candidates, the Medical Center is offering an employment referral bonus for critical positions in the OR, PACU and inpatient areas on the Winston-Salem campus, High Point Medical Center, Lexington Medical Center and Davie Medical Center.

The recruitment referral program will strengthen and stabilize the Medical Center's nursing team, as well as contribute significant savings to the organization. Sign-on bonuses are a cost-effective way to fill critical positions and are less expensive than traveler nurses and overtime charges.

Bonus amounts vary according to position types:

  • Winston-Salem Campus Inpatient positions (including OR and PACU): $3,000 bonus per candidate
  • Winston Salem Campus ED positions: $5,000 bonus per candidate
  • Lexington Medical Center Inpatient RN positions (including OR and PACU): $3,000 bonus per candidate
  • Lexington Medical Center ED positions: $5,000 bonus per candidate
  • Davie Medical Center Inpatient RN positions: $3,000 bonus per candidate
  • Davie Medical Center ED positions: $5,000 bonus per candidate
  • Davie Medical Center OR positions: $5,000 bonus per candidate
  • Wilkes Medical Center inpatient RN positions (including OR and PACU): $3,000 bonus per candidate
  • Wilkes Medical Center ED positions: $5,000 bonus per candidate
  • High Point Medical Center (including OR and PACU): $3,000 bonus per candidate
  • High Point Medical Center ED positions: $5,000 bonus per candidate
