Our Care Options
In-Person Care
With more than 350 primary and specialty care clinics, we can help you find the provider you need at a location that is convenient for you.
Need help finding a provider? Give us a call at 336-716-WAKE (9253).
e-Visits
Convenient and secure email-style visits that can be used to replace in-person appointments for certain non-urgent medical conditions.
e-Visit patients won’t need to wait for an appointment or leave the comfort of their homes.
You need to have a Wake Forest Baptist Health provider before you can request an e-Visit through myWakeHealth.
Telephone and Video Visits
Telephone and video visits are just like regular clinic visits, but instead of physically coming to the clinic to meet with a provider, you meet with them using a mobile device or computer.
Contact your Wake Forest Baptist Health provider to schedule a telephone or video visit.
During this time, patients are able to have video visits with their providers using one of several platforms, including myWakeHealth.
Immediate Virtual Care
If you are in need of immediate care that is not life threatening, our emergency medicine specialists are available to have a video visit with you on your mobile device or computer.
They will assess your healthcare needs while on video and help navigate the best next steps for care.
Hours: 24 hours a day - 7 days a week
Have you had your COVID-19 vaccine?

We Promise to Keep You Safe, Healthy and COVID-Protected
Following advice from our infectious disease experts, we will be:
- Practicing social distancing in all of our clinic locations
- Minimizing wait times in common areas, like waiting rooms
- Asking our patients to join all providers and clinic staff in wearing masks
- Limiting visitors, with few exceptions
- Cleaning our facilities with strict sanitation protocols
- Conducting screenings for COVID-19 symptoms upon arrival
- Offering expanded access to virtual visits via video or telephone
Telehealth at Wake Forest Baptist Health
Telephone visits, video visits and e-Visits are available in many specialties. Please ask your provider if you can take advantage of one of these options.
Urgent Care and Emergency Care
The difference between urgent care and emergency care is the severity of the conditions they treat, opening hours, typical wait times and cost. Urgent care doesn’t accept emergency situations.
If you are experiencing life-threatening symptoms, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department.
