Primary Care, Done Virtually
Maintaining your health and wellness means getting the care you need, when you need it, the way that works best for you and your lifestyle. That's why Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist has multiple virtual telehealth options available for all ages.
Some of the ways virtual telehealth can be used:
- Establishing a new relationship with a virtual primary care doctor for ongoing care, where all your health care appointments will be video visits, with appointments available 6 am - 11 pm, 7 days a week
- Connecting with an expert medical provider for urgent care online to have a face-to-face video visit for non-life-threatening medical symptoms right away from the comfort of home
- Finding convenient, flexible care from virtual pediatricians with virtual telehealth services for kids
- Seeing your in-person doctor virtually for sick visits or follow-ups through scheduled care visits
- Completing a quick questionnaire to securely message a provider about minor conditions and illnesses, and if appropriate, receive a diagnosis
It’s all available through Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist.
Telehealth Options
Telehealth is sometimes called telemedicine appointments, virtual visits or online doctor’s visits. The goal is to give you access to virtual care, when and where you need it.
Telehealth includes virtual visits that focus on diagnosing, treating and monitoring medical conditions. Urgent care video visits may be used for injuries and illnesses that are minor and not considered to be life-threatening.

Appointments are required and can be made easily online, 7 days a week. Family medicine providers are available for all ages from 6 am-11 pm, and Atrium Health Levine Children’s pediatric providers are available for ages 0 – 17 from 8 am-8 pm. Learn more about pediatric virtual primary care.
