Biography

Dr. Michael Goodman is board certified in hematology and medical oncology (cancer and blood disorders).

He is an associate professor in the Department of Hematology and Oncology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine.

In his clinical practice, Dr. Goodman cares for patients with cancer diagnoses of the genitourinary system (genital or urinary organs).

He has been the lead investigator and author for clinical research trials in oncology. He participated in the development and implementation of the National Genitourinary Oncology Pathways at the Department of Veterans Affairs and has served on the Veterans Affairs Central Institutional Review Board.

Dr. Goodman received his medical degree at East Carolina University. He completed residency in internal medicine at Wake Forest University and a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the Medical University of South Carolina.
