Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is pleased to announce the opening of the Performing Arts Medicine Program. Whether you are a dancer, musician, vocalist, or artist, this program is designed to meet your needs. We understand your unique demands and want to help get you back to dancing, playing, singing, or painting. Like our Sports Medicine Program, our Performing Arts Program includes physicians, physical therapists, hand therapists, and certified athletic trainers with specialized knowledge and training.
The Wake Forest Baptist Performing Arts Medicine Program is one of very few in the country. We want to provide you with the most comprehensive and personalized experience, and that means we have listened to input from our patients and will provide a single location for your initial visit and diagnosis, x-ray, therapy, and equipment needs. Many of the providers involved in this program have personal backgrounds in Performing Arts - they, too, are former (or current) actors, musicians, dancers, and artists.
