Meet our Cleft and Craniofacial Coordinator

Suzanne Santomieri Suzanne Santomieri is the Cleft and Cranofacial Center coordinator for Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. She attended Appalachian State University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in communications. She earned her master's degree in elementary education and special education from Cabrini College. Suzanne was a special education teacher for 8 years in a self-contained classroom working with students with severe and profound disabilities. She is a board member for The Arc of High Point, a member of the Cleft Community Advisory Council (CCAC) with Smile Train and on the Advocacy Committee for the American Cleft Palate Association (ACPA).

Suzanne and her husband, Nick, have 2 boys, Nicholas and Dominick. Dominick was born with cleft lip and palate, and Suzanne has a personal connection to the cleft community through her own family experiences. She is an advocate for others and is looking forward to growing her knowledge in this field and being a part of the Cleft and Craniofacial Team.
