    Patient Comments

    • November 29, 2020I have already recommended my brother to Dr. Simmons. He is a patient there.
    • November 17, 2020Very impressed with the concerns and care Dr. Simmons showed for my health and the Virus.
    • November 9, 2020Dr. Simmons is an exemplary Cardiologist who ALWAYS fulfills the above items regarding his time and medical consideration and treatment with both me and my wife, who is also a patient of Dr. Simmons. We travel 3 hours one way to see Dr. Simmons and choose to see him rather than rely on a great number of Cardiac Electrophysiologists within 1 hour of our home in Western North Carolina.
    • November 4, 2020*Dr. Simmons always made sure to keep a good dialoge of understanding! Amazing dr.!!
    • October 27, 2020great
    • October 21, 2020Same cardio/electro provider since 1995, entirely satisfied
    • October 1, 2020*Dr. Tony Simmons is the best cardiologist I've ever had.
    • September 18, 2020Again it was an excellent experience!
    • August 23, 2020They are always friendly & kind.
    • August 18, 2020I love Dr Simmons. He always goes above and beyond to make sure I get an appointment, to walk me through my condition and explain it to me, and to ensure I get treatment and can afford the treatment I need. He has excellent bedside manner and is truly an outstanding physician - which I find rare these days. I usually drive over 2 hours to see him over physicians in my area for this reason.
    • July 7, 2020My health history and diagnoses are of the highest complexity. Dr. Simmons' listening skills, patience to field multiple systemic symptoms to arrive at a clearly communicated plan are unparalleled. I see national specialists for these illnesses and Dr. Simmons pulls the information together amazingly. He is among the best cardiologists who have ever treated me. He is one of a kind and his sage medical guidance has helped me to live the best life possible despite a hugely detracting and sometimes concerning health situation. He seems to cut right to the chase on what tests are needed and which ones would are not. He explains these things very well in a way I can understand without having medical knowledge but also in enough detail that I can share with the other specialists involved.
    • July 1, 2020*Dr. Simmons is what every doctor should be. I'm lucky to be in his care.
    • June 30, 2020Dr Simmons was part of my surgical staff when I was 38. He is a wonderful Doctor now that I am 67 and I am grateful for his care.
    • June 29, 2020Professional service, knowledgeable
    • June 26, 2020I appreciated the Dr Simmons willingness to listen to what information I could give about my medical condition and about my history with the symptoms.
    • June 25, 2020Dr. Simmons is exceptional
    • June 5, 2020very informative as usual
    • June 2, 2020Always willing to help. Great dr. & person.
    • May 27, 2020I believe that Dr. Simmons is one of the better doctors that has treated me in my lifetime.
    • April 25, 2020Dr. Simmions always does great and has gone above and beyond to help me.
    • April 20, 2020Dr. Simmons is an excellent Cardiologist who is not only current in all aspects of cardiac evaluation and treatment options for various disorders, and encourages strongly adhering to a healthy lifestyle. He is a complete medical provider who takes time to listen to his patients (I used plural, as my wife sees Dr. Simmons for a heart condition that is very specific), answer question and instill a sense of confidence in his care.
    • April 10, 2020*Dr. Simmons is very thorough and takes concerns you have seriously.
    • March 21, 2020Dr. Tony Simmons is an excellent Doctor with a wealth of knowledge, experience, and compassion. I would highly recommend to anyone that needs to see a Cardiac Electrophysiologist. I was completely satisfied with my appointment and the tests recommended.

    Why No Ratings

Currently, not all doctor ratings and comments are available. The number of rated physicians will increase over time.
The more ratings a provider receives, the more accurate and statistically reliable the data is. Providers with less than 30 ratings may not have patient ratings listed on their profiles.
