Current and Past Residents

I chose to pursue my PGY2 cardiology residency at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist because of its diverse clinical rotations and the opportunity to train alongside highly engaged and supportive preceptors. From my interview, it was clear that the program fosters a challenging yet encouraging environment — one where residents are pushed to grow but also know they have a strong team behind them. I was confident this would be a place where I could continue developing the clinical skills, confidence, and independence needed to succeed as a well-rounded clinical pharmacist.

During my interview it was clear the preceptors are deeply invested in the personal and professional growth of their residents. The program fosters a culture of learning and support, and I knew I would be well-prepared to practice at top of my license.
