Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist offers an American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists (ASHP)-accredited, 1-year postgraduate year 2 (PGY2) specialty residency in hematology and oncology at a National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center.
The residency is designed to provide residents with a broad range of hematology and oncology experiences in a progressive environment committed to pharmaceutical care and education. These experiences combine learning opportunities in a multidisciplinary setting for both inpatients and outpatients.
Four positions are available each year.
Why Wake Forest Baptist?
Our residency allows a diverse experience with the opportunity to practice independently while growing in knowledge to prepare to become a board certified oncology pharmacist. The residency has many board certified oncology pharmacists to precept and mentor our residents in their training.
Hear from our current and past residents on their experiences.
