Inside of the Mother's Nursing NookThe Mother’s Nursing Nook breastfeeding support helps you feel confident caring for and feeding your baby. No matter where you are in your breastfeeding journey, our international board-certified lactation consultants (IBCLCs) are here to help you reach your breastfeeding goals. They will support you during your stay in The Birth Center and are available for consultations after you return home with your baby. 

In addition to lactation services, The Mother’s Nursing Nook offers a variety of breastfeeding products to support your feeding journey. These products are available for purchase in-store. 

Postpartum Breastfeeding Services

After you and your baby are home, our outpatient lactation consultants are still here to help you. No matter where you delivered, you can schedule a breastfeeding consultation at The Birth Center, as well as at OB/GYN and pediatrician offices throughout the region. 

To make an appointment, please call 336-716-6212. If you'd prefer to go to an OB/GYN or pediatrician office, you can also schedule through MyAtriumHealth or ask your provider for a referral. 

We can help you address common breastfeeding concerns, like:

  • Latching

  • Reassurance
