“I have always been drawn to caring for children and partnering with their families to make sure the children get to live their best lives and embrace every aspect with joy and passion. My dual training in pediatric acute care and pediatric primary care equips me to provide the highest level of comprehensive, experienced and quality care in the hospital, while overseeing a thorough and efficient transition of care back to the child's primary care provider.”
Bonnie Stojadinovic is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner acute care (PNP-AC) and pediatric nurse practitioner primary (PNP-PC). Her clinical practice specializes in the acute care management of hospitalized infants, children and adolescents.
Stojadinovic was a registered nurse for 10 years before receiving additional training as a pediatric nurse practitioner. Working with children is her passion, and she couldn't imagine doing anything else.
She is the recipient of several awards, including Top Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina and Top Nurse Practitioner in the Nation by Today's Nurse; the Community Hero Award for Waukesha WI; the Top Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Award from the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and a Presidential Citation Award by the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
Stojadinovic is involved in research with pediatric sepsis integration across Advocate Health. She is an active volunteer with the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board and has functioned in various roles from initial exam writing to re-certification exam writing and review.
She received her master’s degree in nursing at Marquette University, earning a dual degree as a primary care pediatric nurse practitioner and a pediatric clinical nurse practitioner. Stojadinovic then received a post-master’s certificate as an acute care pediatric nurse practitioner and her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in pediatrics leadership/management/administration at Rush University.
She and her family enjoy camping, swimming, biking, hiking and playing with their rescue dogs, and she and her daughter like baking and cooking together. Stojadinovic likes reading great thrillers or mysteries and helping at her church’s Sunday school.
