Postgraduate Year 1

A 6-week rotation Introduction to Investigational Drug Services Operations is also required during Year 1.

Postgraduate Year 2

Our flexible residency program allows residents to tailor their experiences to meet their individual career goals, combining required rotations with a number of available elective rotations. Residents are evaluated longitudinally on projects, presentations, and practice experience (staffing).The month of December is set aside to give the resident ample time to work on his or her research project. All rotations are precepted by qualified clinical specialists.

  • Phase 1 Oncology Clinical Trials (6 weeks)
  • Infectious Diseases Clinical Research (4 weeks)
  • Regulatory Compliance (4 weeks)
  • Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy (4 weeks)

Elective Learning Experiences (4 weeks each)

  • Pharmacogenomics, Clinical Research and IDS
  • Basic Science / Animal Research
  • Clinical Decision Support – McCreadie Group, Inc.
  • Medical Oncology
  • Leukemia
  • Multiple Myeloma
  • Solid Organ Transplant

Longitudinal – occur within the residency year

  • Professional Practice Experience
  • Projects, including Research Project and Medication Use Evaluation
  • Presentations and Teaching, including CE presentation
  • Leadership / Management / Medication Safety
  • Institutional Review Board
