Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist – High Point Medical Center offers a 1-year, postgraduate year 1 (PGY1) residency (pre-candidate status) that is designed to prepare residents for a future in innovative pharmacy practice:

The purpose of our PGY1 residency is to build on Doctor of Pharmacy education and outcomes to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists who are responsible for the medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions and who are eligible for board certification and PGY2 pharmacy residency training. We strive to assist our residents in achieving their full potential as clinicians, educators, and individuals. One position is available each year.
