Led by Innovation. Delivered with Compassion.
Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist offers expert diagnosis and treatment for brain, spine, and peripheral nerve conditions. Our board-certified neurosurgeons specialize in both surgical and non-surgical care, tailoring every plan to the needs of each patient.
We bring together nationally recognized specialists, advanced technologies, and groundbreaking research to deliver world-class neurosurgical care. From minimally invasive techniques and robotic spine surgery to MRI-guided laser ablation (LITT) and deep brain stimulation (DBS), we are at the forefront of innovation. We operate one of the nation’s top Gamma Knife Centers and are among the few U.S. institutions offering DBS for complex conditions like movement disorders, brain tumors, Tourette syndrome, and depression.
Whether managing brain tumors, spinal deformities, epilepsy, stroke, or peripheral nerve injuries, we collaborate across specialties to ensure seamless care. Our pediatric neurosurgery program at Atrium Health Levine Children’s Brenner Children’s Hospital is led by two board-certified, fellowship-trained pediatric neurosurgeons. We are proud to be the region’s destination for safe, precise, and personalized neurosurgical care.
