The John Woodard Family
The Woodard Family is honored to serve as Co-chairs for Cheers! Through friends and colleagues, they have witnessed the exceptional, life-changing care provided by Brenner Children’s Hospital. Many of the children under Brenner’s care may have had very different outcomes if not for the hospital’s efforts. They have one son, John III, who is a blessing and the miracle that made them parents, something they were not sure would ever happen. They feel very strongly that each child is a blessing and recognize how fortunate their community is to have such a special medical facility as Brenner to care for every child that comes through its doors.
They have observed that the support and care provided extend beyond the patient to embrace the whole family as they navigate what may be the most difficult time in their lives. Brenner’s expertise, caring, and compassion are offered to those in need regardless of the circumstances. Furthermore, Brenner Children’s Hospital’s first-rate facility offers hope and healing to every child, regardless of their financial situation.
Brenner Children’s Hospital benefits nineteen counties in North Carolina, as well as patients from Virginia, South Carolina, and West Virginia. Patients come from far and wide in their time of need. The family hopes that friends and neighbors will come together to support the exceptional care that touches so many lives. Generous contributions will directly benefit these children and ensure that Brenner Children’s Hospital can continue to serve future generations.
